I help clients solve their technology problems. I work closely with staff, customers and other stakeholders to identify what you need. I can negotiate on a client's behalf, with the vendors they approve, to implement and support IT systems & solutions.  I don't sell any products, so you can be sure I always act in your best interests.

I apply my experience to find emerging products that can help clients like you improve. I advise on what to expect and how to plan for successful results while minimizing risk. I work with my clients to ensure a smooth transition to a productive future state.

The following are a few of the projects I've recently worked on:

An international nonprofit based in Ottawa needed to enable its staff to work more efficiently and collaboratively. They also wanted to stop buying and supporting aging computers.

Together we prioritized their needs, evaluated the market and picked a solution. We replaced a slow server running Microsoft Exchange with Cloud-based Google Mail and Google Drive. The result has been improved project collaboration between teams and reduced infrastructure costs.

I was the Lead Technical Analyst in developing data centre infrastructure and service delivery strategies for the federal government (PWGSC) with $880M in annual expenditures.

  • I worked directly with 26 CIOs representing over 100 departments to determine strategic requirements (e.g. availability, capacity, security, regulatory, etc.)

  • I developed facility and IT asset strategy, and directional Cloud Computing opportunities

  • I identified cost optimization opportunities available through data centre & infrastructure consolidation and server virtualization
